Largest trade zone along Sino-Russian border

A photo taken on Aug. 16, 2006 shows a general exterior view of the Suifenhe-Pogranichnyy Trade Zone in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The closed trade zone, the largest of its kind along the border of China and Russia, was put into operation on Wednesday. With a total investment reaching 10 billion yuan (US$1.25 billion), it covers 4.53 square kilometers on the Sino-Russian border, including 1.53 square kilometres within the Chinese territory. [Xinhua Photo]
